However, the fact that the AFVOA stands behind each one of us is a comforting thought. ANNUAL PICNIC General Instructions Aim 1. Aim of these instructions is to ensure smooth conduct of the event and includes instructions on the move to the picnic venue, activities during the picnic and dispersal so that all members enjoy the day and carry with them a pleasant memory. Time and Location 2. The venue of the picnic is Camp Gloria, at No. 41, Perur Colony, Nemmeli, 4 km from the Crocodile Bank on the East Coast Road. The duration of the Picnic will be from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs on Sunday, 20 Jan 2008. Attendance 2. Only those members who have paid the Annual Subscription for the year 2007-08 on or before 05 Jan 2008 are eligible to attend. Eligible members, families and guests of all ages are welcome and they will be required to pay Rs. 150 for themselves and Rs. 150/- per head for each person above the age of 5 years accompanying them. Payment should be made before 05 Jan 2008. 3. Mode of Payment. Payment should be made by cheque in favour of Armed Forces Veteran Officer’s Association and should be posted to AFVOA Office, ‘Palani Centre’ (Basement), No 32, Venkatnarayana Rd., T Nagar, Chennai – 600 017 such that it reaches there by 05 Jan 2008. Assembly 5. Members may come to the venue of the picnic under own arrangements or by buses being arranged for conveyance. Eligible members who have paid are requested to inform paid are requested to inform the Secretary (2229 0186) or the treasures (94452 35932) whether they will come on their own or by bus. Those coming on their own are requested to reach Camp Gloria by 0900hrs. Those arriving late may miss their breakfast. Conveyance by Bus. 7. Three buses from Youth Hostel, Indira Nagar, Adyar and back are being arranged. Members, families and guests are requested to reach Youth Hostel, Indira Nagar, Adyar. Well on time.
