Life Time Subscription, in conclusion, is essentially for the benefit of the members and their spouses. It will also benefit the organization in more ways than one. 15. Members who wish to be enrolled in this scheme of LTS will submit the following proforma along with their payment. Name of Member: Date of Birth: Name of Spouse: Date of Birth: I request that I may be granted Life Time Membership and a membership number allotted to me. Cheque for Rs ……………..is attached. Date: Signature Decision: On the basis of the presentation by the President, Implementation of the Scheme was put to vote. The members overwhelmingly supported the Scheme and approved implementation effective from 01 Apr 2013. Election of Office Bearers for Years 2013 - 2014 and 2014 - 2015 Maj Gen N Viswamathan, Election Officer, went through due process calling for nominations for the four posts that were falling vacant. The following names were received by him for the posts as indicated against each: Maj Gen JJ Manavalan President Gp Capt R Shankar Vice – President Maj Joy Koruthu Secretary Capt N Rajan Treasurer Since no other names were received. Election Officer announced that all four stand elected without contest. Members cheered the New Team. They were felicitated and given an opportunity to say a few words. Their profiles appear later in this Newsletter. President thanked the Election Officer for the efficient conduct of the election procedure. The members joined in giving Gen Viswanathan a big hand. Conclusion and Curtains Maj Gen CT Chari, President thanked the members for their participation and appreciated their cooperation and support in the efficient conduct of the meeting. In his closing remarks, Gen Sundara Rao, Patron thanked the President and expressed his appreciation on the efficient running of the Association over the last two years. He also thanked the other office bearers for their dedication. He appreciated the contributions from many of the members in supporting the office bearers and making their job simpler. He singled out Col A Krishnaswami for special praise and requested all to give him a big hand.
