One can buy a sim card and make use of it or use your own mobile which has ISD facilities. Both may be expensive. Using your mobile can cost up to Rs. 100/- a minute. Unless you plan to spend more time in Nepal it may not be worth getting a sim card either. But the best option is to make use of the many ISD booths in and around Kathmandu and other places. The charges vary from booth to booth like exchange rate but the best deals are
