HQ Area has said that they will not give us the PGSI on Sundays, simply because they will not have their working parties put on duty on Sundays. I will appeal to the GOC, requesting him to permit us to use the PGSI once in two to three months, on Sundays, as a special case. I will assure him that not more than 8 ORs will be required to get the facility opened and help us go through with the meet. (This includes 2 RPs). If we are successful in our efforts, that is well and good. Otherwise, we will need a location like a hall or an open area where we can put up a shamiana, hire furniture, PA eqpt and related facilities. This will cost money and we anticipate an out go of Rs 30000 per meet. We need a functional office and we need some clerical support. We need to employ a suitable person on a part time basis. We need to buy a steel almirah for the office. Our mementos are nearly exhausted. We need to issue a new Hello Veterans booklet. A few curtains, mats and misc office items are required for the office. All this needs money.
