This adornment shall be propagated with faith, credulity, probity and loyalty. 19. Over this hemispherical roof, supported by its weight bearing ability shall rise a parabolic canopy sweeping high to brush the clouds to exalt and magnify our monolithic existence. This canopy shall be cut out from solid blocks of sheer toil and crafted by strenuous persistence. 20. The interior of our monumental AFVOA shall be embellished with the marble of poised pride and modest self respect and shall be inlaid with jewels of bravery, valour, boldness, strength, daring, heroism and gallantry. 21. Such are the dreams of our elders for this great assemblage and he prayed that we shall each of us see it before we pass on. 22. Bimonthly Meetings. Details of Meeting held during the bygone year are as follows (i) 09 Jul 2007 - Strength of 125 members altenaing that meeting. (ii) 09 Sep 2007 - Chief Guest was Maj Gen E J Kochekkan, AVSM, SM, VSM. Mrs Kocnekkan and the Station Commander Brig VN Money was also present. This being the meeting closest to our Raisng Day Col A Krishnaswamy, VrC, VSM** gave a talk during which he took us down the memory lane and told us about our growth from inception to the present. This Was followed by a Cake Cutting Ceremony. Lt Gen S Pattabhiraman, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, former VCOAS talked to us about India’s future strategies. (iii) 18 Nov 2007 - Afternoon meet. Flower arrangement. (iv) 20 Jan 2008 - Picnic. (v) 16 Mar 2008 - Our Chief Guest for the evening was Air Cmde GR Prasad, VSM, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station, Avadi. Mrs Prasad was also received. Wg Cdr V Nautiyal gave a talk on IAF strategies. (vi) 13 Apr 2008 - Lt Gen Noble Thamburaj, SM, GOC-in-C Southern Command was the Chief Guest.
