The main event of the evening was a very entertaining lecture cum demonstration by Dr (Mrs) Radha Bhaskar on the subject of how music - be it classical, folk, devotional, or filmy, is inseparably entwined in our day to day life. Dr (Mrs) Radha Bhaskar, M A ( Music ), Ph D ( Music ) is both a musician and a musicologist. A disciple of Padmabhushan Sri P S Narayanaswamy, Dr (Mrs) Radha carries several awards like Yuva Kala Bharathi, Sangeetha Kala Sevak and Sangeetha Sudamani, lightly on her shoulders and is looking after the Mudhra Cultural Sabha of Nungambakkam.
