We have included in this newsletter, some “medical advice”, guiding principles to keep fit and some information in a lighter vein to amuse us. Enjoy reading them. 5. The mandate for the editorial team is simple. Don’t be alarmed! It is named as “ The Kiss principle ”. ‘ Kiss ’ is the acronym for “ keep it short and simple ”, whether we write or speak. Let us hope, the team is able to adhere to this principle in our newsletters. Happy reading! Meeting Gone By – A Resume 6. The meeting held on 26 Jun 2005 at the Palm Grove Ecological Park and Sports Complex, Island Grounds was something important and special: important in that it was the Annual General Meeting of the Association and special, as we had the privilege of, listening to a surprise guest lecture on “India versus China in the economic sphere” with emphasis on trade brought out succinctly by Dr. (Mrs.) Srilata Zaheer, Professor of Strategic Management, University of Minnesota at Minneapolis, USA. 7. Tambola . Mrs. Lalitha Mohandas, Mrs. Premavathy Balachandran and Mrs. Sulochana Krishnaswamy conducted a game of Tambola. Due to constraints of time only one house could be played. The lucky prize winners were, Gp Capt LV Mohandas, Sqn Ldr G Balakrishnan, Maj Mohan, Mrs. S Narayan, Col I Jayakaran and Mrs. Jayakaran. The snowball remains unclaimed. 8. Welcoming to the fold .
