If there are a minimum of 50 confirmations, it is proposed to obtain the required Non Judicial Stamp Paper and request a Notary Public to be present during the Meeting, so that the Affidavits can be got ready that very day. Merchant Navy offers employment opportunities to personnel who are trained to the standards specified by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO). In an unique scheme, the Indian navy has started providing vocational training to the soldiers and their dependents. The training is being conducted at Mumbai and Vishakapatnam. 42. Due to limited vacancies, Naval personnel and their dependents are given priority. However, vis a vis civilians, preference is still given to the soldiers and dependents of Army and Air Force.
