Telephone Directory The EXSOA, which has embarked on making a comprehensive telephone directory, of all officers of the Armed Forces, who consequent their relinquishment of service, have settled in Chennai is nearing completion, thanks to the concerted efforts by a band of dedicated officers over the last eight months. At this moment, You as an individual member can play a vital part in helping bringing out the directory. Each member is requested to procure at least a dozen advertisements – maybe a full page/half page/one third page. In all, we do hope that each member will be able to garner a minimum amount of Rs 10,000.00 Dinner Dinner was catered to by Rajendra Maharaj, the selection including the all time favourites of jalebls and dahi vadas for which the Maharaj is justifiably appreciated. From the next meeting onwards, it is proposed to set up two serving counters to better the service for our growing number of members. Au Revoir Wg Cdr V Pashupathi, VSM, has headed for greener pastures. He has taken up a two-year assignment in Malaysia as the Chief Ground Instructor at a flying academy. He has specifically expressed his wish to make known to all the EXSOA members his good wishes. Mrs Bhuvana Pashupathi is remaining behind in Chennai to take care of the two girls. The EXSOA wishes Wg Cdr and Mrs Pashupathi all the very best, and is sure that “Pash”, as he is popularly known, will reconnect with the EXSOA upon his return.
