The good wishes of the entire family of AFVOA on the special day will make their celebration even more memorable. Building and nurturing the Family feeling within the AFVOA strengthens our bond. Alas the practice is as good, only when the Members participate wholeheartedly. Some have not given their details and hence are not greeted resulting in disappointments and misunderstandings. Members will agree that this is avoidable. Varthaman laid wreath on behalf of Veterans of Army, Navy and Air Force, respectively. 19-Dec-19 Members of MC met Lt Gen P N Rao, GOC D B Area and congratulated him on his taking over D B Area. A few points of concerns of Veterans of Chennai were discussed with him. 11-Jan-20 Visit to CMRL by AFVOA 14-Jan-20 Veterans Day - Wreath laying ceremony held at Victory War Memorial Chennai. This event was attended by 20 Members of our association. Veterans Lt Col P Nallathambi and Wg Cdr S Harshavardhan laid wreath on behalf of Veterans of Army and Air Force, respectively. 02-Feb-20 Bi- Monthly meeting held at PGOI. (a) Highlight of the meeting was a talk on "Healthy Ageing" by Dr Nrutya Subramanyam. (b) Nine new members enrolled in AFVOA. 03-May-2020 Release of Newsletter
