AFVOA Newsletters of Year 2012
As she is service oriented, she preferred to give up marriage in order to continue serving in the forces. She retired as a DDMNS of Southern Command in 1986. Thereafter she plunged into continuing to serve the community in various welfare activities. She is a committee member of the 100 bedded Hospital Public Health Center and visits the Hospital mostly every day and takes active part. She is also a member of many Welfare Organizations like Uratha Sindhanai, Nallor Vangi and so on She writes stories to Avval Vikadan, Kungumam and other magazines Thereafter, Col MuraliKrishnan of ECHS, Regional Centre, updated the audience on ECHS matters. This talk was informative, and enabled members to clarify many doubts. AFVOA thanks the officers for sparing their time to clarify points raised by the veterans. Time does not wait for anyone – least of all for veterans. And for some of the veterans the pangs of hunger was too much to bear. Hence lunch was served. After a hearty meal, everyone left the place wholly satisfied and contented. Compiled by Brig VA Subramanian NEW MEMBERS We welcome the following new members to our fold.
