The AOC and his staff had gone out of their way to ensure that we veterans were well looked after. They ensured that none of the visitors were inconvenienced in spite of the understandable mandatory tight security measures in the premises of the Station and were guided with extreme courtesy and dignity. They ensured that we had a memorable day with them. Our sincere thanks to the AOC, CADO, Wg Cdr Moses, Hony Flt Lt (Retd) Dhanushkodi, Sgt Balamurali for their prompt response to all our requirements. Long live our Inter Services Cooperation. We deeply regret to intimate the demise of Col K Marimuthu, Artillery, our much respected member, who passed away on 29 Jan 2010. He was a very dynamic and useful member of our association ever since he joined the association on 21-4-03. Soft spoken, very friendly and helpful, Dear Mari as he was affectionately addressed, will be missed by all his friends. He was the Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Tennis Association. We pray for his soul to rest in peace and give all the strength to Mrs Nirmala and the family members to bear this irreparable loss with calm. We regret to intimate the demise of Lt Col NS Rajagopalan ASC, aged about 64 years, resident of No. 25 “Kruthika” Ranganathan Nagar, Selaiyur, Chennai 600094, on 7 Feb 2012.
