Our Annual Picnic is on the 9th day of January 2011 at Camp Gloria, usual venue. Detailed Administrative Instructions are appended below. Patron and Executive Committee Members wholeheartedly welcome you all for full participation in the picnic meet and enjoy the fun. AFVOA PICNIC :: 09 JAN 2011 The next BiMonthly Meeting of our Association will be our Annual Picnic on 09 Jan 2010. The venue, as in the years past will be Camp Gloria on the East Coast Road. Camp Gloria is in Nemmeli Village, 3km away from the Crocodile Bank. You can easily miss it unless you have a good spotter in the vehicle. The sign board is in the depression to the Right of the road when you come from Chennai. We are trying to place a sentry 200 metres short and one at the turning point. If still you overshoot it and return from the direction of Mahabalipuram you will find it on your Left of the road. Please assemble at the Youth Hostel, Adyar by 0700hrs, 09 Jan 2011. Meet the Treasurer and pay in your dues. Payment for the Picnic is Rs. 150/ per head. After paying collect your coupons for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Those who have not confirmed by 103 Jan will not be entertained. Three buses have been arranged for. Please report to Col A Krishnaswamy, or Brig (Mrs) Muthulaxmi for documentation. Boarding of buses starts at 0730 hrs. Buses will leave at 0800 hrs and go straight to the Picnic spot. No pickups en route. You may, if you so desire come directly to the Picnic spot and register there. Hot meals will be provided at Camp Gloria. Games and entertainment have been organised. Join in and have a great day! PENSION MATTERS Mai Gen N Viswanathan writes as follows On my request for a new PPO, PCDA has sent to my PDA an addition to my original PPO: the name of my spouse and her DOB. I had sent 3 copies of the joint photos but has not been used by them. They had only info me that a new PPO had been sent to my PDA and I should contact them I collected a photocopy from my Bankers Any way one more obstacle cleared!!!.
