Mary C Crowley From the Editorial Team New Knowledge The AGM of our Association was held on 28 Jun 2009. Many important and valuable points were brought up and debated with passion. It was a delightful experience. The declamation of some of our senior members, so full of words of maturity and wisdom, highlighted the bonding amongst our members and at the same time endeavoured to enhance the strength of our Association. The pros and cons of continuing to run the ESM Welfare Transport vehicle and the point regarding the proposed Army Officers’ Institute was discussed at considerable length. In the election that ensued Maj Gen KS Chattaraman was elected as the new President. The rest of the members of the Executive Committee were voted to continue for another Year. In addition Lt Col R Subramanian was elected as the Joint Secretary and Maj Joy Koruthu as Joint Treasurer. The simmering heat that we experienced during the last four months has been
