Points from the President 19. Socialising/Interaction. The President felt that more socialising and interaction, among the members, was desirable, as this was one of the main premise on which the Association was initially formed. However a balance had to be achieved in this regard within the available time during the Meet, as a large number of activities had to packed within that period. Presently the time prior to the commencement of the meet and during dinner is exclusively kept for social interaction. In case all members do arrive in time for the Meet, this point may not surface. 20. ECHS The President politely clarified that in future, points of common interest will only be taken up by the Association with the concerned authorities. Individual cases may be pursued directly by the members through the staff channels of ECHS as AFVOA neither has the charter nor any authority in this regard. 21. Bye-laws of the Association The Association has been registered as a Society under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975, through the efforts of our past President, AVM V Krishnaswamy, VSM and his team.
