Come December, and it heralds the end of another year according to the Gregorian calendar. And as most of the world today follows this calendar, this has become – a time to introspect – a time to take stock of what has been achieved, and what is yet to be done – a time to place the bar a little higher, so that we can strive to do a bit more than we had achieved till now. It is also the time, when many of us make new resolutions – and generally the resolutions are often forgotten even before the ink has dried on the paper! 2. The basic reason for not keeping to the resolutions is that they may be too ambitious and may not be time-bound. And as an old proverb goes one thing at a time and that done well, is a very good thing as many can tell “Hence, if one is keen to make resolutions and stick to it, it is best to make one at a time! Some simple ones which need to made and of course kept are: Smile More, Make Others Happy, Be More Honest, and Procrastinate Less. In the final analysis, it is our own attitude which will dictate whether we want to keep or break resolutions. 3. Wishing all our Members a very Happy and bright New Year.
