In one of the previous meetings it was announced that the Area Headquarters had mooted a proposal to nominate Col TN Raman, to represent the retired Garrison officers on the Gymkhana Club Committee. It is learnt that the proposal has not been accepted by the Club Committee. Celebrations ► Col N Vishwanathan celebrated his 60 th birthday on 10 August 2002 ► Lt Gen C Sundara Rao celebrated his 80 th birthday on 12 September 2002 Awards 28.
