Grant of Fixed Medical Allowance With the issue of “Corrigendum” under Ministry of Defence letter No PO/38207/7/AG/PS-4(b)/193/A/D(Pens/Servs) dated 07 th Mar 2001, on Grant of Fixed Medical Allowance of Rs 100/- (Rupees One hundred only) to all Armed Forces pensioners and their families, all pensioners are eligible for the grant of Rs 100/- per month in lieu of the OPD facilities at Armed Forces hospitals/MI Rooms, regardless of the fact that there exists an AF hospital or not in the place of residence.
