Enthusiasm in our daily work lightens effort, and turns even labour into pleasant tasks. ~ Baldwin Dear Veteran, In this issue, we would like to focus on Enthusiasm. The enthusiasm of the veterans has not dimmed with age. This was amply demonstrated in the last meeting, that was held on 14 th Oct 2001. The meeting was in full swing out in the grounds of the Youth Hostel. The sprightly Air Marshal RS Naidu volunteered to conduct the Tambola. And during the midst of the second house, when he was calling the shots, the skies opened up, and there was a torrential downpour. Everyone (ladies not excluded) pitched in with great enthusiasm to quickly shift all arrangements to the small hall inside the Hostel. The food had already been laid out, and hence the task of bringing in the food with least dilution was truly gigantic. And the veterans did it with gusto and in double quick time.
