The patient should go through a Service Hospital, when treatment/surgery is warranted. The Service hospital will then refer the patient to a civil hospital of his choice, which should be approved by the AGIF. It is in the interest of the member to refer to a Service Hospital as the investigative/diagnostic charges will not have to be paid by the members thus making the full admissible amount for a disease available for treatment/surgery.
