Brig (Mrs) K. Muthulakshmi gave a short but informative talk on the ‘Making of a Will’. She also clarified the doubts of members in a lively question-answer session. Booklets 10. Two booklets brought out by the Association were then distributed to all those who were keen to have the same. The first was an ‘Aide memoire for the making of a will’. This was produced by Brig (Mrs) K. Muthulakshmi, who besides incorporating the points that she made in her talk, also enclosed a few sample wills. 11. The second was a brief on the ‘Actions to be Taken on the Demise of an Officer’, which was produced by Maj Gen N. Viswanathan. Ex Gratia Grant 12. A token contribution of Rs 10,000 as an ex gratia grant was handed over by the EXSOA from its own relief funds for the treatment of Mrs Prabha Rajagopal, wife of Wg Cdr K Rajagopal. The members were also informed of visible benefits of becoming a member of the NGO TCC(Trauma Care Consortium), which had stepped in to organise sale blood for Mrs Rajagopal’s blood transfusion requirements. Announcements 13. One of the new members of the EXSOA family, Maj NS Rajasekharan then announced that his family would only be too happy to loan a complete set of the traditional Kerala style marriage lamps (absolutely free of charge) to any member who was celebrating a daughter’s marriage. And in the light of past experience, the Major mentioned that the lamps could be collected after making a refundable deposit.
