Section 6 - Memoirs CV 2 No. 02 / 2021 Page 196 of 332 New Identity for AFVOA The current logo of AFVOA, though well designed, was not made of vector graphics, with the result that any attempt to manipulate it ended up pixellating it, leading to poor quality. Right through it’s tenure, the present Managing Committee felt the need for replacing the current logo of AFVOA with a trendy digital design made of vector graphics, which can be manipulated digitally without any loss of quality. With Ravi’s help, the Committee identified a professional service provider in the domain of logo making. With inputs and critical reviews from all members of the Managing Committee, the new logo has been finalized to depict inter-service camaraderie, in a fitting contemporary style. This probably is the last major commitment that the present M C has handled before signing off. There are many more initiatives that this team took and I can keep writing endlessly about the efforts put in by Team Vartha to take AFVOA to a higher pedestal but I will stop here .
