Section 5 - Memoirs CV 2 No. 02 / 2020 Page 93 of 237 Death is one of life's greatest mysteries. Do we really die, or do we have a soul that lives on apart from the body? Probably he just wanted to be among the stars. The stars that he gazed at from his living room every dark night through his telescope. Whatever the case may have been, no one on this earth will know the real reason. And if he did not leave a note behind, he must have had a reason for that too. So stop speculating people and let his wandering soul rest in peace. His suicide came as a jolt from the blue. It opens our eyes to look around and see how many of our near and dear ones are screaming out for help silently. People saying “ I am not okay, I am just good at pretending that I am” Your story may be filled with broken pieces, terrible choices and ugly truths. But it is also filled with amazing comebacks, courage and hope that can pull you up. Life has its stressors and bad things happen. There’s no point in ignoring this reality. But remember that time something bad happened and you figured out how to deal with it? That’s a skill worth continuing to develop. Be a firm believer that there are more good people on this earth than bad. No matter what the social media feeds you. Practise forgiveness. It has a lot to do with happiness. Apart from health benefits, the act of forgiveness can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. Happiness comes when you can make a difference in someone else’s life.
