I got that opportunity with divine grace and was destined to succeed and narrate it . I received the award in utter humility on behalf of my company which fought it out to gain victory and brought glory to the battalion. Four decades later, my war time partners, Lt Col Nair, Gill, Prakash, RaviKrishnan,and NbSub Khajoor singh are no more. However,I am in touch with their families.My grandsons were thrilled to meet Kaka Ram embracing me during the Battalion Reunion. Life goes on!! Jai Hind Welcome home to the Victors
