Shri Y Gee Mahendra accepted our request to interact with the Veterans and share his experiences and learnings with our members. Date 24 May 2020 TimeTime 10:30 am Our guest on show on the day was Ms Rasika Sekhar an internationally acclaimed Singer, Flautist and Composer. Her music varies from Indian Classical, Western Classical, Jazz, Flamenco and Regional Music. Date 07 Jun 2020 TimeTime 10:45 am Mr V Sriram, the famous historian and heritage activist was our guest speaker for the day. He readily accepted our request to address the Veterans and share his vast knowledge about the early days of East India Company in Chennai. Date 14 Jun 2020 TimeTime 10:45 am Prof Dr K Ganapathy, a brilliant speaker, Neurosurgeon, Telemedicine pioneer and an outstanding Doctor who has worked with ISRO, gave us a talk on “Gaganyaan & The Indian Space Warrior”. Date 21 Jun 2020 TimeTime 10:45 am “Adventuress on the Autobahns of the World”, was the topic for the day. Ms Meenakshi Arvind an avid traveller, hotelier and cancer awareness campaigner, shared with us, her experiences of her adventure drives from Coimbatore to London (72 days/ 27,000km) and Coimbatore to St Petersburg (52 days/21,000km). Date 05 Jul 2020 TimeTime 10:45 am The speaker for the day was Mr C Balasubramanian, a research analyst with “Chennai Centre for China Studies”. He spoke on the subject “Dialogue of Civilisations: India China Connect”.
