Section 2 – News / Updates from the Association CV 2 No. 02 / 2020 Page 14 of 237 eConnect, the Necessity of the Times With the onset of COVID 19, all of us have been under lockdown and life has not been normal over the past five months. The very fact that we had to cancel our visit to L & T Shipyard at Kattupalli is a testimony to this. The major impact of COVID 19 on us, has been that we have not been able to organise our Bi-Monthly Meetings. We in our Managing Committee decided to embrace the new normal and decided to hold Webinars. This we found was the only way to move forward and connect with our members and families. We brain stormed and worked on the procedure to conduct online meetings, the topics that would be of interest to our members and choice of guest speakers. Till date have organised 10Webinars and held them over Zoom platform. Our efforts have received tremendous response from our members and our choice of Speakers and Topics have been well appreciated. We are hopeful of bringing in more eminent speakers of repute and more interesting topics in the coming months. We also will continue to hold webinars twice a month even after normalcy returns. We in our MC wishes to convey our sincere thanks to all members and spouses for all your support, appreciation and encouragement.
