Why does it need training?!! It understands balance, it works on stability, it always endures, has been for millenniums…. Why would it need training?! It falls, it struggles, it rises, it vibrates, it thrives, struggles, falls again only to rise…. It’s inevitable….. the cycle stays and sustains!! So, what are talking about here?!! …… Hmmmmmmm….. I didn’t quite finish the first line….. “The world doesn’t need Training….. but, Human Beings do…constantly!! When the going is good, or otherwise!! In the Indian Armed Forces, we have a saying,” the more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in War!” Actually without the war and peace bit, it goes a lot to show how we as human beings need to access and train continuously to be the best in whatever field you are. Take any high performing athlete or a Super Star Performer/Actor/Artist! The only reason they sustain is because of the hours they put in honing and perfecting their talent and ability! Why should it be different for any other Professional!! So, as an independent entity or as a collective force, we, human beings, need Training!! The unfortunate part is that most organisations and institutions, for that matter, believe that Training or Learning is a luxury and kept on least priority all the time! At any sign of crises, the first to move out of the budget allocation will be the Training part, reason – austerity measures. Effectively, you are signing up to have your employees and wards settle more into mediocrity and low morale!! When the chips are down, that’s when you need more engagement and energising through interventions which motivate and create better performers!! Having a strong set of positive individuals in the Team will ensure you sail out of the crises much more easily and surely!! I
