We wish each veteran member and their families a hearty welcome, and hope they enjoy their time with the AFVOA and strengthen our organization. IMPORTANT ISSUES OVER THE YEAR LTS Life Time Subscription was approved by all and implemented by our Committee. We have now 77 LTS members. We invite all veterans who meet the criteria to join the LTS scheme. Pay once and you do not have to remember to pay annual subscriptions anymore. FUND STATE We are happy to report that all our finances are in good shape. All accounts have been digitized thanks to our efficient Treasurer. Our member lists and database is uptodate. We have 12 Honorary Members, 77 LTS Members and 141 Regular Members. Of these 49 are Air Force veterans and 12 Navy veterans. About 40 members are yet to renew their subscriptions. We invite more of our Navy and Air Force veterans to join the AFVOA. FDs have been consolidated. The Treasurer will give a presentation during our meeting. We are planning an Internal Audit of accounts by our own team. Col Balaswamy and Capt Sivasailam will be requested to carry out the same. ANNUAL PICNIC We held our picnic at Camp Gloria as usual. It was a memorable event and it was good to see so many “young” veterans helping us in the smooth conduct of the event. We hope all members will attend this year and have fun at the picnic.
