 Those wishing to utilize the facility are requested to intimate by 01 Feb, indicating the number of members traveling to Col RS Varadan.  However to facilitate those traveling by their own arrangements by train, a pick up point will be organized on the eastern side of Tambaram Rly station. We will limit our entry through their main Guard room, on the road (we will call it AF stn road) that turns in, adjoining the Madras Christian College (MCC) campus.AF stn road can be accessed from Velachery on one side or from Tambaram Hindu Mission Hospital (HMH) side on the other.  Those travelling from Velachery -Vijay Nagar bus terminus, cross Pallikaranai, Medavakkam, Gowrivakkam, Sembakkam, camp road junction, Selaiyur, Kamarajapuram, Christ King school and head for the AF stn road, turn left from this axis, just short of MCC campus.  Those coming from HMH - Keep MCC campus on the right, Cross East Tambaram bus terminus, leave the road to Tambaram Sanatorium station to the left, take the first road to the right, which is approximately 1.5 KM from HMH. Then one is on the AF stn road.The AF stn road ends at the main Guard Room of IAF stn, Tambaram.  Inside IAF stn, Tambaram -Just ahead of the main guard room, there is a traffic island. Take the road to left to end up at the AF offrs’ mess, your venue. Administration  Food for the drivers can also be provided, and the cost is to be borne by the member if intimated in advance.  Considering the fact that the caterer will be unable to handle sudden increase in strength as also keeping the security arrangements, members are requested to furnish the requisite details in time and send advance payment and avoid last minute requests for inclusion.
