A proposal has been put up by Lt Col SSK Ayyar (Retd), the eminent neurologist who is a practising consultant at a number of hospitals such as Vijaya Hospital and Malar Hospitals, Chennai to the effect that he, as well as a number of other eminent doctors who were in the Armed Forces, and are now practising in their fields at Chennai, will voluntarily make available their consultation expertise on a fixed number of days in the week at the ECHS polyclinic at the MH for the benefit of members of the ECHS.
