Members will be glad to note that the Association has since been registered on 06 th January 2004, under the Tamil Nadu Societies Act and allotted Registered Number 3/2004. Dear Veteran, From the Editor’s Desk 2. This being the first issue for the year 2004, here is wishing all of you a far better year than the one that has gone by. After all, progress implies improvements and not mere ageing. And talking of doing better, it is “feel good” to know that our Association has finally been registered. And the registration was done on the first working day after the fabulous outing by the members to Camp Gloria. 3. Another event which is nearing completion is the updated version of “Hello Veterans” - the Telephone Directory which hopefully will be released by the next meeting. Now that we are a registered organisation, all of you will appreciate that we need to participate with a greater sense of commitment. One of the immediate tasks at hand is the printing and release of the Telephone directory, which will cost us a tidy amount. At this moment we are reminded of the saying of the famous British naval Admiral, Horatio Nelson,
