Dialysis For treatment in civil hospital 90% and 75% of the authorised expenditure in case of JCOs/OR and Officers respectively, and restricted to a maximum of Rs 75,000.00 per annum in civil hospital and Rs 40,000.00 in Service Hospital. 8. Cancer For treatment in civil hospital 90% and 75% of the authorised expenditure in case of JCOs/OR and Officers respectively, and restricted to a maximum of Rs 75,000.00 per annum. 9. Stroke 90% and 75% of the autorised expenditure in case of JCOs/Ors and Officers respectively. 10. Arterial Surgery 90% and 75% of the autorised expenditure in case of JCOs/Ors and Officers respectively. 11. Prostrate Surgery 90% and 75% of the autorised expenditure in case of JCOs/Ors and Officers respectively. 12. Total Joint Replacement 90% and 75% of the autorised expenditure in case of JCOs/Ors and Officers respectively. Note: a) The above financial assistance are provided in the form of reimbursement against production of medical bills after the beneficiary has undergone the treatment/operation. However, if the treatment is being taken from any of the civil hospitals empanelled by KSB, the beneficiary has to pay only 10% or 25% as the case may be, on production of a letter issued by KSB to the hospital. The remaining amount of expenditure is paid by KSB direct to the concerned hospital. b) Those ex servicemen who are members of AGI/AFGI Medical Benefit Scheme and have utilised this facility from AGI/AFGI once for their earlier treatment, are also entitled to financial assistance from KSB for subsequent treatment with effect from 08 November 2000. Air Travel Concessions to winners of Gallantry Awards Recipients of the following gallantry awards are now entitled to 75 per cent concession on the normal economy class fare with effect from 01 st February 2001. This concession is applicable to both serving as well as retired personnel. This is available only while travelling on domestic flights by Indian Airlines. Boys Hostel at Pune for College Going Children A boys hostel with accommodation for 36 students has been established near HQ Pune Sub Area since April 2001. The Hostel is meant to cater to the needs of children of serving personnel and ex servicemen (in that order) who are pursuing graduate/post gradate studies at Pune.
