Marriages may be made in heaven, but ALL of them have to be maintained on earth… ~ Unknown Success Story Shri Rajendra son of late Cdr MSI Swamy and Smt Jaya Swamy was married to Ruth Nayantara daughter of Mr Edward MSJ Davidar and Mrs Sushila Davidar on 13 June 2002. You may wonder as to how this is of interest to us. It so happened, that at one of our regular Meetings, an announcement was made requesting for a bride for the son of the veteran service officer who had faded away. The clue was picked up and acted upon by a few other like minded service officers. Contacts were made to the bride’s parents at Wellington (Service connection again!), and soon enough the wedding was solemnised at the Vellankanni church.
