Section 3 – Value Add / Special Tasks CV 2 No. 01 / 2021 Page 39 of 123 AFVOA YouTube Channel : A Status Update With the immense popularity gained by our eConnect series, the need was felt for our talk shows to reach a wider audience. It was also felt necessary to have a platform on which the recordings of our talk shows could be preserved for posterity. Various options available to fulfil these needs were evaluated and the committee decided that we must have our own channel on YouTube which meets our requirements. The AFVOA YouTube channel was launched on 20 Sep 20. Recording of eConnect talk shows from this date are available in this channel as also the recordings of speeches by our Patron and Past Presidents which are also available on our website. Our Subscribers’ base has been growing steadily. As on date, we have 180 Subscribers to our Channel, of which more than 50% are non-members of the Association. The M C appeals to all members to become Subscribers to our Channel. This will facilitate the members to receive auto notifications of all events planned by the Association.
