My son received his blessings from them and we went back home to celebrate his birthday happily. That day was the turning point in my thought process. Respect all religions, follow the religion that brings you peace and happiness. We don’t have any right to throw stones at people who do not follow your religion. There is more love in the world than hatred but why does the media focus so much on the bad rather than the good? In my office, Dusshera puja is done in a big way. I support, encourage and participate in it every year. My Muslim driver participates in the arthi just like me. Does that make me a bad Christian or my driver a bad Muslim? Crime, terrorism, hatred, fraud is seen everywhere in this world. In the same breath I can say Love, forgiveness, Gratitude, Generosity, Charity are seen everywhere. Now the question is what do you see more? Is your glass half full or half empty? I wish I could start a media where all the good in the world is highlighted and the bad put on the back burner. So that in the morning when I read the newspaper, I have an awesome start to my day, feeling positive and happy to go about spreading more joy and happiness around me. Let's just ponder over our present situation. A tiny mite (virus) has shut down the entire world. The blame game goes on. But the truth is that the Earth needed its rest and only God can do it in His own way. I know for sure that this lockdown has helped me realise never to take things for granted.
