Finance & Accounts This aspect of AFVOA is entirely the domain of Bala. He is a one man Army who is self-taught on accounting matters and works independently with no clerical support. His book keeping is of the highest standards. Once we decided to introduce Tally, Bala willingly undertook the task of keying all records with no outside support. With no prior knowledge of Tally he depended on online tutorials to clear his doubts and completed the job. Without reaching out for any support from any of us, he visited the office of Registrar of Societies to file our annual returns and the same was accepted by the Registrar of Societies on the first go with no observations. With his inquisitiveness he was able to dig out from our records the pending notices issued by Income Tax department, even when the Managing Committee differed diametrically with the advice of our Chartered Accountant as to the our approach for filing our maiden IT Return for the last financial year, which resulted in a refund from the IT Department. We also have a resolution in sight of the pending Income Tax issues of yesteryears. Kudos to him Bala for his sincerity and dedication.
