Section 2 – News / Updates from the Association CV 2 No. 02 / 2020 Page 30 of 237 The Managing Committee set about the task of constructing a website earnestly from May 2020. Thanks to Zoom, a series of virtual meetings were held from May 11, 2020 onwards. Determining the scope and the proposed Site Map took a large proportion of time. Putting together the data was a humongous task and every member of the M C volunteered to contribute. The project progressed seamlessly, with periodical internal reviews. In the Executive Committee (E C) meeting held on 23 Jun 2020, while discussing the Work-in-Progress of the website, it was felt by the EC members that it would be appropriate to launch the website on Aug 07, 2020 which is AFVOA’s 26 th Anniversary. Lo and behold, the website was indeed launched as planned on Aug 07, 2020, owing to meticulous planning, very strict adherence to schedule enabled by the whole hearted commitment of the members of the Managing Committee. While the members of the M C are reasonably sure of having included subjects of general and immediate interest, they are fully conscious of the fact that website is a dynamic entity and are quite up to the challenge. The Managing Committee wishes to place its grateful thanks on record for all your messages of encouragement and compliments.
