Interestingly, the other philontropic venture ‘Samudhaya Foundation’ of which Dr Sudha Raghunathan is the Founder andManaging Trustee, was born out of Dr Sudha’s dream of contributing to the Kargil Defence Personnel Relief Fund. Samudhaya has also embarked on a plan of supporting the traditional village artistes who are now jobless. When we eventually see these artistes resume their art forms post COVID, we now know who to thank. Dr Sudha Raghunathan’s parting message today was “Happiness always looks small when you hold it in your hands but when you let it go, you will learn how big and precious it is”. Wonderful words of wisdom! The appointed meeting slot overshot by at least 30 minutes but in her inimitable, gracious style, Dr Sudha Raghunathan honoured a listener’s choice of a super senior veteran by effortlessly singing her popular “Mathe malayadwaja….” In Raag Khamas and signed off in style. More than once during the session, Dr Sudha Raghunathan expressed her admiration and respect for the Armed Forces. It is indeed mutual, Dr Sudha Raghunathan!
