Whenever files used to be brought by the sub-ordinates, he used to say “ Bhai……Abhi Nahi”. When the very same files made the next round to him, he used to retort nonchalantly : “Bhai……..Kabhi Nahi!” About the Author Capt. R.Sivasailam IAS ( Retd.)served in the Indian Army as an Emergency Commissioned Officer from 1964 to 1970. He was with the Regiment of Artillery and served mostly in NEFA and the Western sector. On obtaining release from the Army in 1970, he worked in the IAAS as Assistant Accountant General in Simla for 1 year. He then joined the IAS in 1971 and worked with the Govt of West Bengal and Govt. of India for about 3 decades. Last assignment was Principal Secretary, Govt. of West Bengal. Post-retirement, was heading a Management Consultancy Organisation and executed UN projects and other assignments in Switzerland, Germany, USA, Netherlands, Holland, South Korea, Thailand, Austria, Canada, Mauritius, Singapore, Malaysia etc.
