Section 5 - Memoirs CV 2 No. 02 / 2020 Page 139 of 237 About the Author Wg Cdr P Arulanandam (6812) AE (M) was commissioned on 11 Nov 62 into Aeronautical Mechanical Engineering. His first posting was to Air Force Flying College Jodhpur. He taught Aircraft systems, Mathematics & Physics to Trainee pilots & Navigators (Cadets). He was selected for Flt Engr Course in 1964 and has flown 1689hrs.35mins on AN-12Aircraft. After his Flying tenure he served in various assignments in the Engineering Branch, such as maintenance, overhaul, quality assurance, production, planning (production planning &material planning). Also served as President of Trade Testing Board testing Airmen for their competency for promotion. After 23 years of service took pre mature retirement in the rank of Wg Cdr.
