It augurs well for this first time ALL AIR FORCE team to hold the reins of administration of our Association. Interestingly, even the First names of the team members rhyme. Varth A, Raj A, Bal A and Harsh A; All are ending with A. It signifies ACHIEVEMENT. Good luck and God speed. sIn all humility as an ordinary member of the Association, right from the day of its inception on 7 Aug 1994, I am fortunate to be with the brotherhood of my dear colleagues. I have love for all and hatred for none. I am fond of history and as such kept a record of all the events that took place and became a repository of information. I claim to be no authority as I could also err like any other. As I am not getting younger, I thought that I should put it on record, the way our organization grew over the period and who all played their part in the evolution. Again, I wish to reiterate that the views expressed are entirely mine and with a possibility of it being incorrect. I leave it to the judgement of the members. I have avoided mentioning certain events in the larger interest of the Association. Any organization grows because someone had sown the seed, someone watered it, someone took pain to nurture it, and someone protected its interests. All this happens because the general body wants the tree to grow. All our members are the General body and the contribution of all is appreciated. A tree sheds old leaves and new ones sprout to let it maintain its growth. Let us all ensure that our organization grows over the years into a mighty OAK and be useful to the community. I intend to put it across in parts in the Newsletter so that it is not heavy reading.
